Your Reviews On Tooling and Accessories

Workholding

I purchased a Kit 75 microloc system, I was aiming to improve the amount of running time on the machine without intervention from an operator, its great, I now load upto ten components per changeover, its quick, simple and accurate.

— Gemini Precision

Barfeeds

We bought a Hydrafeed Bar feed, after much discussion on whether it would benefit our business, we were not too much into production but having bought a new lathe thought it may generate more new business. The bar feed hasn't missed a beat.

— Ashridge Engineering

4th Axis

We have always used 4th axis on our vertical machining centres, nikken being our favoured choice, reliable, solid and accurate.

— Pact Engineering

Toolholders

Buying toolholders is always difficult, so many options and such a varient in price. I stick with WNT they come up with the goods most importantly, quickly and at a good price.

— Nicols Engineering

Chucks

I was looking for a chuck for my hardinge lathe that would hold small components rather than using a collet system. I aproached schunk and they provided me with the answer.

— IDN Engineering

5 Axis Rotary

Buying a five axis machine was always hugely expensive, we approached nikken about their 2 axis unit and asked about the accuracy, reliability and programming compared to buying a new five axis machine. They sold it to us based on the following, lower in cost, just as reliable and equally as accurate. They were right.
