CMZ CNC Lathes

New Long Bed CNC Lathes

CMZ have launched a new range of high specification, competitively priced turning machines, which include short and long-bed versions with Y-axis, sub-spindle and driven tooling. The Spanish manufacturer CMZ is to launch the range of high-specification, competitively priced cnc turning machines at the UK's MACH 2008 machine tool exhibition. The CMZ TC range includes 45 models, including short and long-bed versions with Y-axis, sub-spindle and driven tooling, in chuck sizes from 150mm up to 500mm.

The philosophy of the Bilbao-based company is to offer affordable quality, building the highest possible specification machines to the best possible prices. It keeps costs down by using common elements throughout the range, but uses the same bearings, drives, spindles and controls as you would expect to find on a quality Japanese machine. Cast iron structure - all the CNC Lathes feature a cast iron bed for rigidity, which is machined, heat treated and ground in house, and include box-section guide-ways.
