CNC machining springs into life

Texas-based spring manufacturer has added three new
CNC machining centres to its Houston operation.
Leeco Spring International now operates new coilers manufactured by MEC to offer quick set-up, precision quality, competitive pricing and improved lead times.
The new
CNC machining centres include a five axis dual-coiling point machine, an eight-axis version and a CNC wire forming machine.
Formed in 1959, Leeco Spring International also features a grinding department with some of the most state-of-the-art Moyer CNC grinding equipment.
"All of our equipment is operated by a highly trained, knowledgeable staff. Our experienced engineering design department can assist with prototypes and first articles as required," commented Tami Couey of the firm's technical sales department.
Leeco Spring International designs, produces and supplies more than 3,500 compression springs and stock extension springs.
The firm's team have experience in industries ranging from energy and computing to marine transport and medical instrumentation.
